Guangdong Provincial Drug Administration:

We have received your letter on clarifying issues related to drug online sales (Yue Yao Jian Yao Er Ye [2023] No. 181). After research, the response is as follows:

1、 The second item (2) of the "Drug Network Sales Prohibition List (First Edition)" (hereinafter referred to as the "List"), which refers to the "Oral Compound Preparations Containing Anesthetic Drugs", shall be implemented in accordance with the product list listed in the "Notice of the General Office of the Food and Drug Administration on Further Strengthening the Purchase and Sales Management of Oral Compound Preparations Containing Anesthetic Drugs and Tramadol" (Food and Drug Administration Office, Drug and Chemical Supervision [2014] No. 111).

2、 Unilateral formulations containing drugs listed in item 2 (4) of the "List" in composite packaging products shall be executed in accordance with the requirements of the prohibited list. For example, the composite packaging of estradiol tablets/estradiol dihydroprogesterone tablets contains a single formulation of estradiol tablets, which is prohibited from online retail in the "List".

3、 The regulatory authorities shall, in accordance with the above requirements, order relevant enterprises to rectify the online sales of related products that have occurred before. Those who fail to make corrections within the prescribed time limit shall be punished in accordance with the law.
